Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Training - Day 2

Overview

I developed and facilitated Day 2 of our instructor-led training as part of a comprehensive DEI training program. This session is designed to be introspective, encouraging participants to delve deeply into their thoughts, feelings, and actions related to DEI. The day focuses on fostering a personal connection to DEI principles, helping employees understand their biases, and empowering them to become proactive advocates for diversity and inclusion within the workplace.

Objective

This training aims to deepen employees' understanding of DEI principles, enhance their ability to identify and address biases and equip them with practical strategies to promote inclusivity in their daily interactions. 

Outcomes

Through surveys, participants reported an increased understanding of DEI topics. They expressed greater confidence in their ability to contribute to an inclusive work environment as well as an improvement in workplace interactions and a stronger commitment to DEI principles.
