About Me

Hi, thanks for taking the time to read more about me! I'm a passionate learner and instructional design enthusiast. With a bachelor's degree in human resources management and a master's degree in curriculum and instruction, I've cultivated a strong educational foundation to support my journey in this field.

In my current role as an Instructional Designer at Volunteers of America Los Angeles, I have spearheaded the design and development of training materials focusing on HR policies, processes, and best practices. I conceptualized and implemented an annual performance review process for over 150 leaders, assessing their leadership skills and comprehension of HR policies and procedures. This experience has equipped me with a nuanced understanding of organizational dynamics and the ability to foster strong partnerships with leaders and effectively align instruction with program objectives. I'm constantly seeking innovative ways to engage and empower learners. I strive to stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices, ensuring that every learning experience I create is relevant, impactful, and learner-centric.

Collaboration is at the heart of my approach. I thrive on building communities and fostering positive teamwork dynamics. Whether I am collaborating with subject matter experts to analyze data and plan learning experiences or creating a space for lunch and learns, I'm always open to sharing ideas and embracing the collective wisdom of the team.
